WELCOME TO GROWN MAN PUBLISHING

In 2006 Grown Man Publishing was started for the sole purpose of publishing our CEO, CaNon Harper’s first book, When Your Associates R More Dangerous Than U. It is now our objective to provide readers from all walks of life, with riveting tales that highlight the injustices, realities and circumstances that confront inner city residents. We seek to reach the ill-informed and guide them in the right direction, while expounding on the warped mindset of those deemed as “Expendable”. It is our desire to cross racial lines and bridge the gap that exist

between whites, blacks, upper class and lower class people.

Grown Man Publishing is comprised of individuals that grew up in homes headed by addicts. Most of us are of the generation that’s most thankful for our grandparents, because without them we may not know what it feels like to be loved. A majority of us were influenced by the gangsters that we grew up around. Some of us starting doing time as teens and accepted prison as a part of the life that we chose.

But even though the streets are where we dwelled, we always aspired to do bigger and better things.

We represent all that won’t be denied their desires. We epitomize those that have succeeded with and without struggles. We are admirers of those that are willing to stare failure in the face, embrace it, and defeat it. We embody those that crave knowledge, take pleasure in

seeing others succeed and long to help the less fortunate grow.

Grown Man Publishing accepts the fact that a great deal of our audience will be African-American men and women, between the ages

of 17 and 45, but we invite all to share in the gripping tales that affect the lives of us all.
